Writing Effective Care Area Summaries

Effectively writing Care Area Summaries (CAAS) and Care plans is a vital process to the Long Term Care setting. Each interdisciplinary team member must understand what is required to adequately report the care rendered and to avoid costly State and Federal citations.

  • This class is designed to assist the Longterm care professional in effectively writing Care Area Summaries and plan of care for Long Term Residents.
  • This course meets in a live virtual format for 1.5 hours.

Upon enrolling student will receive email confirmation, including a link to join this training via computer and/or telephone.Students will have opportunity to participate and ask questions for complete understanding.
