This comprehensive 4 day workshop serves as a training to provide participants an overview of the MDS 3.0/RAI process. MDS Training Institute has built a reputation for new and experienced MDS professionals gaining a solid understanding of the total MDS 3.0 process. Because the MDS tool can be a complex learning process, we offer all of our participants of the 4 day workshop additional live virtual trainings in a one day a week format for no additional cost.

The MDS 3.0 User’s manual is 1160 pages of rules and regulations that serves as a vital link in the long-term care industry. We have found that participants with little or no experience in MDS have difficulty in understanding the concepts that are required in a 3 or even 4 day workshop, especially learners that are responsible for implementing and enforcing these rules.

MDS Training Institute has a high focus on complete training and understanding that begins at the very basics. We do offer a fully accredited certification program, but more importantly we aim for complete understanding. Workshop Information and expectations:

The 4 day workshop is intense exposure to the MDS 3.0 process. Participants new to MDS and planning to pursue a new career surrounding in MDS will definitely need more that a short training of 4 days, and will be invited to continue in one of our existing 6 week classes depending on your schedule. Any experienced MDS Coordinator can tell you that learning to become an MDS Nurse does not happen overnight.
